Hi! I’m Nicole.

I grew up in suburban New Jersey, spending Friday afternoons with my family driving up to Vermont. I was immediately drawn to the ski culture and mountain living - music at the base, folks smiling, and that feeling of freedom that comes from skiing down a mountain on a bluebird day. Over the years, I called various places home, from New York City to the mountain towns of Winter Park and Crested Butte where I’ve spent the last ten years living, connecting, and cultivating community. I now reside in Golden with my husband and pup, Nershi.

My mom called me the sunshine of the family, always bringing joy and light into the room. Since childhood, I’ve carried a profound empathy for others who are sad or alone, abandoned or who feel unwelcome. It’s a core part of who I am – believing that no one should feel alone. My purpose in life is to create a space that feels nurturing, where you can take the veil off, feel authentic and comfortable and feel seen! I hope to always bring people together. To me, that is the meaning of a collective.

Along my journey, I have been able to see and experience the rawness and realness of what it means to be human. Creating a container for you to learn about yourself brings me the greatest joy. And like many other relationships, the therapeutic relationship, when met with compassion and empathy, can help you to feel more connected to yourself, to others and the present. I’m here to accompany you on your journey in a space that fosters your own innate wisdom and resilience. Through the therapeutic relationship, comes connection to yourself.

My practice is rooted in existential therapy. I draw from psychodynamic, gestalt, attachment and relational theories, somatic therapy, internal family systems and systems theory to help foster one’s own authenticity and resilience. I take a mind-body approach to therapy that explores the whole person in all our complexities. I bring dual awareness into the space, which involves attention to present-moment experiences while simultaneously recalling memories of the past that have left wounds. I consider biological, psychological, social and cultural factors and their complex interactions in understanding health and wellness - a biopsychosocial approach to healing.
